Outlook: Bleak with some schadenfreude

My wife asked me how I liked the debate between Obama and McCain last night. I told her it was painful for me to watch. "I heard McCain won." She said. "I doubt it." I told her. "It doesn't matter anyway, Obama won the election. He's already got the 270 electoral votes. Barring a nuclear holocaust which wipes out California, Obama's the next president."
Here's my beef with these two guys: they both talk about what they're going to do with taxpayer money, who they will tax less, tax more and give outright money to. They're robbing Peter to pay Paul, evil Robin Hoods, stealing from the rich, and not so rich and giving to their selected interest groups. And that is ALL they talk about. The discussion is 100% flawed to begin with. They shouldn't be taking anyone's money in the first place. Joe the Plumber should get off his ass and make more money in order to expand his business and not count on a tax break (he shouldn't have any taxes actually) or a subsidy to increase his business.
So who am I voting for? None of the above. The election is rigged (they all are). We've got two version of the same flavor.
There is a silver lining to this dark cloud however and it's got a bit of schadenfreude for me personally and that is that the economy is in the toilet and the keynesian economist, the central banks and tax-n-spend government is to blame. The day of wreck-ogning is at hand and hopefully the world will realize that these fools got us in this mess. If they don't realize it then we'll repeat the same mistakes again and again.
My prediction for Obama's presidency: The market is going to bounce back up, temporarally. There will be a honeymoon for the first black president, a euphoria nationally, then reality will set back in, maybe a year to two years down the road. The recession fundamentals will still be around. Our experiment with nationalizing the banks and spending money we don't have will bite us in the ass. The market will crack, Obama, at heart a tax-n-spend keynesian, will be powerless. Ultimately he'll have the same approval ratings as Bush does now and given the hatred that ignorant people have I fear for his life. An assasination will further pull this country into a psychological depression.
