A joke, yes. We will laugh in the car.

Who's gonna win in 2008?

Mitt Romney: Mormon, funny underwear, 'nuff said.
Hillary: We're not ready for a woman president plus Hillary is scary.
Obama: Black, not gonna happen in this country.
Guliani: Scarier than Hillary plus the trice married thing doesn't play well.
McCain: When he addresses an audience as "friends" my skin crawls. Also uses "we" pronoun, methinks as a royal "we".
Huckabee: Only if Jesus personally endorses him.
Thompson: Stands a chance, a good chance. This guy looks tough, is tough and is super tall plus he's got face/name recognition. The smart money should go to him winning.
Ron Paul: My personal favorite. Might upset a few states. Look for a strong showing in the Iowa Straw Poll (2nd place?) in August, New Hampshire Primary and Iowa Caucus. Will probably get slaughtered when the big primaries hit, exception may be Texas.
Duncan Hunter, Sam Brownback, Tom Trancredo, Mike Gravel: Who?
Kucinich: My favorite on the left, doesn't stand a chance though. Pretty English wife.
John Edwards: Does anybody really trust this guy? Seems slimy, not sure why.
Bill Richardson: Likeable enough but he's up against some serious competition.
Biden: Shark mouth, plugs, irritating.
Dodd: More irritating than Biden, loud, grating accent.

This will be an interesting race. America will be confronted with racism, sexism, religion and questions about the future of the American Empire. Even with all of that going on I'm betting that Americans maintain status quo and elect a white alpha male: Fred Thompson.
